Mondaze

I'm still not used to the sun going down so early in the day now.  One of the worst things is when I go into the library at 3PM and walk out at 5PM to a jet black campus.  I feel like the world is going to sleep too early!  I've always been a morning person and it makes it all the more difficult to energize myself with all this darkness.  Oh well! Winter is for layering layering layering and that's what's going on in this outfit.  I'm wearing one of my favorite pieces this fall c/o Drew and an old gifted scarf.  These River Island jeans are also my new best friends!  I've been wearing them so much lately before it gets too cold and my knees fall off. Birthday babe

Yesterday was a very special day for me - my birthday!  Goodbye teenage years.  I kicked off my 20s with lots of good coffee, good grades and amazing food!  Isaac and I went to Le Serpent, a fantastic restaurant downtown in Old Port.  The food was to die for and the ambiance was so cool!  We both got a bit gussied up too which I always love. H&M // Balmain Collection Favorites

Tomorrow is the special day that many of us have been waiting for - the opening of the H&M Balmain collection!  I'm also excited for November 5th because it's my birthday (more on that later.)  Unfortunately since it is my birthday I'm going to miss the major morning rush when the stores open but I will be hauling my tired body over there on Friday morning in the hopes that my store will not already be incredibly depleted.  For all you lucky americans out there - the collection goes online at 8 a.m. EST. In anticipation I've been staring at the H&M website trying to decide my personal favorites from the collection.  Not to mention that the website itself looks super cool and I'm mildly geeking out. The collection as a whole gives off this aura of mystery - kind of makes me think of a 1980s spy movie?  The blouses definitely give off the 1980s vibe while the dark colors add that chiller aspect.  Something like what Sigourney Weaver would have worn in Ghos

Fall in the City

Oh man, it's been a while.  Third year of university is proving to be a real time consumer - which is understandable given the fact that I'm a full-time student.  Now it's time for me to actually get back to blogging because I really do so enjoy it. What are some life updates?  Been able to do some traveling this past month or so.  Spent some beyond amazing time in Rhode Island with two of my best friends, went crazy on halloween dressed as Marie Antoinette, ate a lot of dumplings.  We had the most amazing time in Rhode Island as we packed up the little white Fiat 500, drove through Vermont and New Hampshire until we reached the Ocean State.  Weekend full of cupcakes and lots of Justin Bieber playing on repeat.
