Fashionable Feminism?

I have to say, I have mixed feelings about the release of Acne's Fall 2015 menswear collection.  If you know me in person, you probably know that I have very strong feelings about my own feminism and beliefs in women's rights and gender equality.  There's something to be said about a major label such as Acne coming out with clothing along this line, but what is the statement they're actually making?

I'm all about proclaiming your own feminism, but I'm not a fan of doing it to go along with the 'fad' of feminism.  Even if Acne designers have the intention of labeling themselves as openly feminist, I'm afraid of the bearded, PBR-drinking hipsters taking this as the OK to put on clothing that says they support feminism while at the same time not supporting it in their daily lives.  Does this mean it WILL happen?  Not necessarily, but it's just something to think about.

These pieces run from $220 USD to over $600, so what is the price for declaring your feminism?

What do you think?  Agree with me that making clothing like this brings out ideas about feminism being a fad?  Or disagree? Tell me in the comments!
