Pre-Fall 2016 : Favorite Looks

I'm really loving some of the collections coming out right now.  There's something so striking about the long lines and harsh angles coming out of Acne and Kenzo while Theory's collection shines in its soft simplicity.  I'm also completely geeking over so many outfits from the Sportmax and Ports 1961 collections.  Mind you, this is only a taste of what is currently being shown and what has been shown in the past few days.  Keep reading to catch my two cents on some of my favorite looks and collections currently out.

Acne
Anyone else drooling over that orange jacket? I'm thinking that perhaps Velma from Scooby Doo became a groupie. (Almost Famous, anyone?) Also - mixed tartan yes please.

Theory
Completely gorgeous, as per usual.  I'm a huge fan of Theory and could literally wear anything they produce.  Simple yet gorgeous.

Kenzo
First of all, loving the way the models' positions interact with the clothing's lines and the lines on the floor.  Really loved the review from Vogue discussing the Japanese influence shown in this collection in particular.

Ports 1961
Okay, the lines and silhouettes in this collection are amazing.  The soft neutral colors are perfect backdrops to the fascinating cuts to the pieces.

Sportmax
Zenon meets Alice in wonderland? Perhaps that's a strange comparison.  Second look is making me more excited to try out a dress and pants combo more than ever.  I love how they've been able to combine the feminine and the angular looks and patterns in this collection.
